Who is Uptown Conceal?

The idea for Uptown Conceal was inspired by Diana's constant search for concealed carry accessories that were stylish and discreet – nothing that screamed “I am carrying”. Looking for that perfect bag, with an elevated style that could be carried anywhere, anytime led her to find an inspiring bag pattern. The bag pattern was exactly what she was looking for so she developed a belly band holster to meet everyday wear as well as sporting wear needs. The Belle & Rae (named for Diana’s Granddaughters) handmade line of bags was borne of Diana’s need for something with an elevated style for concealed carry.

Since then, Diana and Mike, married, and partners in life for over 20 years have also worked as business partners building Uptown Conceal. Mike has over 40 years in the retail industry and knows great products and guides the production process to make sure everything Uptown Conceal offers you is Discreet, Stylish and helps concealed protection. Their son, RJ, also an owner, is member of a local law enforcement agency and has been for almost 20 years. He has spent the past 15 years teaching other law enforcement personnel defensive tactics and he teaches active shooter defense to local education organizations and other organizations. He reviews every product as the final quality control. He makes sure that what Uptown Conceal carries is high quality, can be used safely and makes user sense. We believe that he is uniquely qualified to ensure you get the best and that it works correctly. He carries concealed every day and have for years and knows the pain of a poorly fitting holster and how hard it is to find good quality.
